Big Deal Pizzeria finally opened on Monroe Avenue in Rochester. For months we joked about the "Coming Soon" written on the windows. I think it said that for over a year.
My girlfriend and I shared a slice of pepperoni pizza. It was huge, a "Big Deal" as they call it at three dollars. The pizza was fresh with lots of cheese. It had a crispy but not burnt crust. Tasty, but not the best ever.
I'm in the area a lot so I'll be stopping back in. The shop was clean and nicely remodeled and the workers were very friendly and fun.
I think the best part of Big Deal Pizzeria is Bella Dolce Bakery which is located inside. I had a really nice cannoli after finishing the slice of pizza. The kid working the bakery was really funny too.
